Elite Sports Massage
Hi, I’m Carmella Kitching founder of Elite Sports Massage. I am a qualified Sports massage therapist (ITEC) training to be a Feldenkrais practitioner. I am also a Personal Trainer. Additionally, I graduated at Loughborough University in Sports Psychology BSc. Moreover, I am a retired elite swimmer who represented Great Britain and France in my junior years.
I was born in London (U.K.) and grew up in France (Antibes) from the age of 12 to learn French. I have dual nationality and I am bilingual in English and French. I have traveled to many different countries growing up.
My passion in sports massage and soft tissue therapy began when I started to get injured in my seniors years during my swimming career. I have always wanted to find out why and how an injury occurred and how to prevent it.
Moreover, since a young child I have always been passionate about wanting to help others and make people feel good about themselves physically and mentally.

Anyone under Carmella’s care can be certain they are receiving exceptional, expert treatment. She is incredibly knowledgeable and has a repertoire of impressive devices to target finer areas of the body. She has also curated an array of products based on the common causes she treats among her clients. I initially saw her with back muscles so tight they curved my spine. I visited Carmella after having a neck & shoulder problem whilst on holiday in the area. I have experience of visiting sports massage professionals in the UK but I found Carmella to be extremely knowledgeable and ultra professional. The treatment was first class and worked!! Within a few days the problem I had had for over 2 weeks was gone! She responded quickly to my initial request and even followed up to see how I was feeling. It’s just a shame she isn’t based where I live as I would be a regular client for sure! Thank you ☺️
Highly recommend. I’m far from the professional sportsperson Carmella’s used to..but am active and have had back soreness/ache/tightness for a long time and just after one session feel the benefits. I would highly recommend Elite Sports Massage. I had a back injury and contacted Carmella at short notice as I was in the Antibes area. Communication was quick and efficient and she was able to fit an appointment to suit my needs.As I was unsure what was giving me pain she was able to assess and taylor the session to ensure I would gain maximum benefit.She employed different techniques and I really felt the impact of the deep tissue massage.She was also able to offer sound advice on post-treatment and rehabilitation.I will definitely be returning to Elite Sports Massage as the knowledge and professionalism displayed has gained my utmost confidence.
My experience with Carmella at Elite sports massage was wonderful. My entire trap, shoulder, arm and shoulder blade was completely blocked with years of knots pushing on the nerves due to bad posture. She worked on them hard with all sorts of tools over 2 sessions and soon another 3rd.The decor is wonderful, Carmella is knowledgeable and very friendly, she also speaks fluent English and French.I would recommend 100%

Carmella is such a talented, interested and knowledgeable masseuse! In my experience massages does not differ much, but wow the techniques and tools and the way she applies them are quite the experience. It’s nice to be treated by someone who really seem to understand the body. I think this treatment must have released some 10 years of tension! Comes highly recommended!
